The machine is equipped with an in-feed funnel for a buffer of product.
From here the product is divided into 14-channels. For each channel the amount of product can be individually controlled by the silicon ‘fingers’. Combined with individually controllable vibrating gutters it can handle many types of products very well.

The machine is fully equipped with dimple plated steel, this to prevent from product sticking to the machine affecting the results.

There are 3 ways the machine can be operated;

1. The Ishida can be connected to either a foot pedal to drop the portions manually. (video)
2. Connected to a packaging machine that gives signal to the Ishida to drop the portion.
3. Fully automatic running at a certain speed for a continuous production.
